How It Works

Complete the Preliminary Application found on this site.
Once we receive your Preliminary Application, you will be put in the queue.
When it's your turn, you will be asked to complete more a comprehensive form - so we can get a better picture of who you are and your mental health needs.

After receiving your comprehensive application form, our team will let you know if you qualify for our program.
Applicants can qualify for either fully paid or partially paid clinical counselling.

Upon approval, we will help you match with one of our approved, licensed Clinical Counsellors. You can select either virtual sessions or in-person sessions at one of our approved practises.

You can try a free consultation with your prospective therapist to make sure they are a good fit and it's a great chance to ask any questions you might have about therapy. If you decide to move forward with them, we will book you your first session! That's the exiting part!

After your first session with your new therapist, your bill will either be fully covered or partially covered by Uncle Daryl. Counsellors can direct-bill to Uncle Daryl's Foundation rather than you paying upfront and having to wait to be reimbursed.
